These clips are a selection from the Poverty and Participation in the Media project, due for DVD release in May. The interviews began in summer 2008 with the most recent being shot in March this year.
All interviews have been produced within Poverty and Participation in the Media Workshops. All interviews and production was conducted by participants.
Discussion of the role and importance of the community to poor areas of the UK and the effects the media has on social relations. Interviews were conducted in the Marsh Farm estate in Luton, Pepys estate in Lewisham and the Larkhall area in Stockwell, South London.
