As this project emphasises, not only representations of poverty within traditional media, be that fact-based articles or dramatic depictions, but also the role of new media practices in transforming these and providing access through online debate, networking and posting, the creation of the Spectacle Blog and Facebook pages seemed a relevant move.
Both will be used to encourage greater involvement in the project, those who attend workshops, or were unable to attend but still want some involvement, can follow the progress of the film and play a part in the editing process using our active archive and participate in, or fuel, debate relating to the project.
We have also set up a YOUTUBE channel which you can visit with videos from the workshops.
