Battersea Power Station Alex Baldwin Interview - 2010
Introduction
This is an interview with Alex Baldwin, who is Conservation Advisor for The Victorian Society.
She talks in detail about the organisation's opinions on developers' plans to demolish the Grade II* Listed pumping station, and her ideas for how the site could be regenerated.
This video is part of Spectacle's ongoing Battersea Power Station project.
Wandsworth Council are making a decision on the current plan, which includes the construction of luxury flats, a hotel, a riverside park and turning the Grade II listed building into a retail centre, in July.
