Introduction

The Battersea Power Station is an ongoing project which looks at the history of the building and its future plans as an icon of London.

Brian Barnes MBE is a representative of the Battersea Power Station Community Group. The group are in place to help preserve the building. He has been a member since 1983 and he has been a key campaigner to keep the Power Station as an important symbol for the area.
