Spectacle were commissioned by Groundwork London to produce an educational awareness, participatory film project about climate change, in conjunction with Impact, a Groundwork London-led programme that encourages young people to get involved in environmental activism.
Silwood Video Group
Silwood Video Group, Spectacle, 2001-ongoing
The Silwood estate has experienced a massive Single Regeneration Budget (SRB) project where £72 million pounds has been spent over the past 6 years. The Silwood Video Group, with more than 25 members has been documenting and seeking to positively influence changes to their environment. This collection of films and interviews directed by members of the SVG look at the history and 'soft demolishing' of their estate.

‘Poverty and Participation in the Media’. Setting up workshops to explore questions such as how UK poverty is depicted in the media, which are good examples and which are not?
Charlton Football Club Social Inclusion Programme
London College of Communication/Screen Academy, 2009
Spectacle ran 6 workshops in and around Charlton Athletic FC for a group of young people from the local area. The group were taught to use the camera, audio and lighting equipment and put their new skills to use, filming the Women’s Football Team in training.
