Introduction

A short film "Community Media as Public Space and Social Infrastructure" about Spectacle's participatory media workshops made for the final APaNGO Report (Advocacy, Participation and Non Governmental Organisations in planning).

Spectacle?s APaNGO demonstration projects explored the use of media technology, particularly by residents in neighborhoods experiencing the effects of regeneration, in the context of participation in urban planning.

APaNGO (Advocacy, Participation and Non Governmental Organisations in planning)aimed to develop best practice in community involvement in planning and to undertake a study into community involvement in planning across North Western Europe.
